MathsVertex is committed to protecting the personal data of all users, including those in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR in our handling of personal data.

2. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

• Contract: Processing necessary to deliver The Grade Elevation System after enrolment
• Legitimate interest: Analytics, service improvement, and communicating relevant educational updates
• Consent: Marketing communications and non-essential cookies (you may withdraw consent at any time)
• Legal obligation: Where required by law

3. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the following rights:

• Right to access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data

4. Data Transfers Outside the EEA

Some of our service providers (Google Analytics, Formspree, Calendly) may process data outside the EEA. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions). See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data for the duration of enrolment plus 2 years, unless you request earlier deletion. Some data (e.g. financial records) may be retained for longer to comply with legal obligations.

6. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any GDPR right, email us at hello@mathsvertexuae.com with subject "GDPR Request — [Your Name]". We will respond within 30 days (extendable to 90 days for complex requests, with notice).

We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

7. Right to Complain

If you believe we have not handled your data lawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority:

• EU: Your national DPA (e.g. CNIL in France, BfDI in Germany)
